About
Gianluca Giadima (Naples, 1974) is a Narrative Director.
He takes a theme, explores it to its core, and turns it into experience — whether that's a campaign, an event for Rolex, an opera built on Tchaikovsky, or a card game tied to the America's Cup. The format changes. The craft never does.
His practice is rooted in a dramaturgical approach where structure, music and visual language converge into a single, indivisible work. His artistic research explores the metaphysical dimension of human experience — love, power, destiny, transcendence — through opera and large-scale dramatic forms.
His current project, Pathetique Melodramma, is a four-act opera built upon Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 "Pathétique", culminating in a newly commissioned Requiem.
Over twenty years, he has shaped the narrative and visual identity of Vogue, Rolex and Piaget — applying the same dramaturgical rigour to brand experience as to opera: precise in structure, exact in visual language, always oriented toward audience experience.
In luxury and international brands, Executive Creative Director. In cinema, Writer-Director. In opera, Opera Creator and Dramaturg. Three formats, one craft.
